CONSULTANCY ON LINE
| MY COMMENTS of the day. Here, I am focusing on the most important SAR services & GMDSS communications functions - DISTRESS ALERTING. Also, its recent piggy-back companion - SECURITY ALERTING. It is true to say, that any media of mobile communications available for satellite, cellular, VHF, HF, MF frequency bands can be effectively used within the limits of its reliable propagation to secure this vital GMDSS Function. It is also true to say, that to make use of multiple communications systems at most there must be a service, enabling connection of the end points by integrating different components into the operational links. However, the manageable network is still far from a reality. I spent years in promoting ideas of Rescue Communications Network and Distress Alerting Networks, based on advanced satellite technology in all areas of the network architecture, management, business operations, quality control and monitoring. You may wish to look into my research work for MBA Thesis and submissions made to IMO, ICAO, ITU and public domain at different stages of the concept development. You won't be surprised that a tiny fraction of the time and money resource spent by countries and their international and regional agencies on GMDSS development could be suffice to accomplish a universal Distress Alerting Network in nine months. Today, the advanced technology makes the implementation of this concept simpler, much more cost-effective, and what's more demanding - applications for immediate alerting and prompt warning to prevent terrorism activities and natural disasters. |
